| Introduction | I have always had a passion for the arts, leading me to constantly think outside of the box, particularly in the professional setting. Whether I am creating a document, selling a solution, or writing a tune, I aim to make my audience pause for a moment and reflect on what was just presented. I initially went to school to study upright jazz bass, but dropped that to pick up an English major and focus on creative writing and communications, a perfect creative outlet for me. My major gave me a solid foundation in creating documents of all sorts, while also allowing me to throw in my own flavor into each. Whether I was writing a short play for my Screenwriting class, or a technical document for Business Communications, I always added something extra, my own spin. Professionally as a Recruiter, I have been able to do the same. I throw my own flavor and spin into whatever I do, which separates my work from others. Sometimes that is exactly what we need in the workplace, sometimes not, but the key is to recognize the opportunity and then to rise to the occasion. |
