Introduction	I am a Type I Diabetic who was diagnosed in 2007. I started with syringes, moved to insulin pens, and then to various pumps. I have been on the Medtronic, Omnipod, and T-Slim. The CGM (Dexcom) is one of the most important medical devices I have. Diabetes is with me everyday and is part of who I am. But, there’s more to me than this... Go under my skin, and reach in...this is what you’ll find: A mother, wife, teacher, friend, daughter, sister, cat-lover, traveler, cupcake extraordinaire, writer, & warrior... A person who enjoys staying fit & healthy because it gives me the strength that I need, A woman who loves with all that she has, and a compassionate and emotional individual with a love of learning.
