| Introduction | Quivera is named after the the "legend of the lost North American Indian city of gold that the Spanish were seeking...a city that always seemed to move around." In this case, the gold would be the natural and historical wonders to be photographed and shared. It seemed appropriate in our own quest to explore and discover the many wonders of North American. Two traveling companions that are an important part of our journey are the internationally famous "Bone," discovered on a backpacking trip over 30 years ago (That is another story and is reflected on his own blog "The Peripatetic Bone" as written by Curt.)and Eeyore, the philosopher, who found his tail in Quivera and watches over our journey with a different eye. |
