| Introduction | I am the physical science teacher on the 8th grade yellow team. I was a chemistry major at Ithaca College in Ithaca, NY where I did research in photovoltaic hydrogen fuel cells with my adviser Akiko Fillinger. (We were trying to create solar cells that could create electricity to split hydrogen from water to create a hydrogen fuel source for cars). I also earned a master's degree from Lesley University. Outside of academics, I enjoy spending time near the water (lakes or ocean, doesn't really matter) or at home playing with my two cats, Peanut and Dinger. My husband and are also very excited to be welcoming our first child in September. |
