| Introduction | I am honored and excited to represent married women as Mrs. Iowa! My husband Joe and I have 5 children and 3 dogs. We are both Veterans of the Army, we grew up with parents & family who also served. My love for my country has inspired my platform-Voice For Veterans. I have seen firsthand how serving your country can change your life and your families. As Mrs. Iowa I will encourage communities to support our Vets, Soldiers & their families in response to deployments, past and present. I also will be working with the Alzheimer Asso. for Alzheimer Awareness. In 2004 my Mother was diagnosed with Alz. There is nothing more heartbreaking than someone you love not recognizing you and all the memories you made fading away. By bringing more awareness to the 6Th leading cause of death in the US, perhaps we can find a cure, and live in a world where memories remain. I look forward being an example to girls and women of all ages to follow the dreams in your heart, no matter how old you are. Find your gifts and share them with the world!
