| Introduction | From a very young age, I have an instinctive urge to question speculative brash declarations of so-called modern scientists. The scientists are ofcourse successful in developing astonishing gadgets which have completely changed our way of living. These are however only objects for sense gratification. They have completely failed in trying to explain universe and ultimate truth. These I believe, have to be understood by looking "inside". Science, with its current scope, is very stifled because it takes into account details which are seen using the five senses and the mind only. Ancient vedic tradition of India has tought humans to break out of this shell so that profound understanding can be acheived on any subject by inner contemplation. This kind of understanding is beyond the mind and senses. One of the fields I am interested in is the ancient medical system of Tamil tradition. |
