Introduction	I have been a software engineer for a decade, and I was a network and security administrator for five years. I have a degree in computer and networking technology, and I am pursuing a degree in physics--particle physics when I finally specify. I have a great many creative releases; I write fiction and non-fiction articles, stories, and books. I play the piano, guitar (bass, lead, or rhythm), blues harp, violin (only marginally well), and drums. I occasionally paint--oil or acrylic, though usually wet-on-wet mostly because I'm lazy and impatient. I have a small workshop where I do light CNC machining, cabinetry, and other miscellaneous fabrication--the heavy acrylic vacuum canon used to fire a ping-pong ball nearly the speed of sound with my son, for instance.
