Introduction	I had a tantrum when I was six. I wanted to enter the next room through the wall instead of walking three feet to the doorway. It is tough to know what my father must have thought seeing his second-born fling their face and body against the living room wall, but I like to imagine that he saw it as his son’s physical search for metaphysical understanding. It is my hope that a reader also views my writing in the same light, even though often it may look like a moron repeatedly slapping into a drywall.
