| Favorite music | eclectic... I grew up listening to the Metropolitan Opera every Saturday morning, and in the evening we'd listen to Hawaii Calls and Gene Autry's Melody Ranch. I'm a child of the 60's with a love for authentic folk music, but I also love classical music. Song lyrics matter to me; if the lyrics are stupid, I don't like the song. One of my favorite genres, if it can be called that is male a cappella singing. I also love some kinds of gospel music, not the screamy kind, but the sincere, beautifully harmonized, genuinely performed kind. |
