| Introduction | I find that this blog is the easiest way I have to share all of the research I have done on the Frevele family since 1965. I have enjoyed finding my ancestors. I was always told by my dad that our Frevele family came from Alsace Lorraine, France. As of 2008 , I have not found the family in Alsace Lorraine. I was able to travel to Germany in 1989 and visit with some Frevele family in Ubstadt-Weiher. They were very pleasant and appreciated having a family member from the United States come to visit them. I am the granddaughter of Alphonse Charles Frevele who resided in Amityville, Nassau, Long Island, New York. My great grandfather is Joannes Wendeline Frevele who immigrated to America in 1832 from Ubstadt, Baden, Germany. I have researched the Frevele family back to 1648 when they first moved into Ubstadt. |
