This is a new blog (started January 2009) to record my early textile work when I studied textile art at College several years ago

I am showing the work in chronological order (some of the early work is quite basic, but good for ideas!) - I thought it might be interesting to see the progression I made as my work and style developed

A lot of the work for College was artist related in that we were encouraged to study and take inspiration from the work of professional artists and develop our own work and ideas from that starting point

It's interesting that I started out using lots of bright colours, but over a period of time my taste has changed completely and I now use a more tertiary palette including lots of natural colours with touches of red
