| Introduction | Blu Principles takes its name from best linear unbiased estimators that, given certain characteristics of data, produce a line that in an unbiased manner minimizes the distance between the data points and the line. I hope that the principles that I have learned in economics, from my family and my religion, the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints grant me informed and unbiased opinions. If you are looking for a flamethrower, you will be disappointed. Understanding the perspective of those with whom I disagree helps me better apply blu principles in a persuasive fashion. Occasionally, I find their perspective more persuasive than mine and must alter my opinions. Finally, the normal disclaimer applies; the opinions I express are my own. |
