| Introduction | My husband and I moved off of our sailboat in 2019 after 4 1/2 years living onboard in the western Atlantic, including the far eastern Caribbean. We have decided to settle in Memphis, near my husband's two sisters. It is the second marriage for both my husband and me and between us, we are fortunate to have four wonderful children, now adults spread around the country: East Coast, Chicago, and the West Coast. I was raised on a Minnesota dairy farm. I went to undergraduate school at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse and graduated with a Master's in Social Work from the Rutgers-The State University of New Jersey in 1982. I practiced as an Independent Clinical Social Worker in Iowa, Wisconsin, and Minnesota until my early retirement in 2015. |
