Introduction	Katie lives in The Woodlands, TX with her husband, two sons and her dog. She was a foreign language and literature teacher before leaving the world of paid employment. As a mom and a teacher at home, she tries to channel the same creativity with which she created activities for her students. In her ever-dwindling free time, she enjoys cooking, hiking, reading and playing the piano. For now, with two small children, this usually means cooking baby food, walking around the block, reading Dr. Seuss and tapping out a tune while her boys bang on the piano keys on either side of her.
