| Introduction | I live between two cities, Hong Kong and Singapore. Technically, my home is in Hong Kong, but I travel every 2 to 3 months to Singapore to see my children who are both married and have their own homes and careers. I used to work in healthcare, first in a hospital environment but later in international marketing where I travelled the world to promote my hospital services. I stopped working in 2012 to enjoy free time on my hobbies and to start this blog. It helps that I love to write, a skill honed when I was little, in a small obscure town of Kota Bharu in the state of Kelantan in Malaysia. Why Contemplation? The posts written are frank, honest and open views based on my life's experiences and observations of the many places and the different people I encountered during my travels. I hope to tweak the readers' mind to contemplate on how each article is related to their own lives and how it can help to change their perspectives on certain aspects of their lives, like it did mine while writing it. |

| Favorite books | I love to read books on History, piqued by the interest of each country I visited during my many business trips. It is interesting to learn how a nation is built and shaped by the aspirations of its founding fathers to what it is today. I also read biography and autobiography of people who have made a difference in this world; and Spiritual books are food for my soul. |
