| Introduction | Originally from the Washington D.C. area, Alex Spinney has attended the Edinburgh College of Art (Edinburgh, Scotland), Savannah College of Art and Design (Bachelors of Fine Arts: Painting), SCAD: Lacoste (Provence, France), School of Visual Arts, State University of New York at New Paltz (Masters of Fine Arts: Painting), and The Vermont Studio Center. She currently has a studio practice in Philadelphia, PA, and teaches classes and workshops at various cultural institutions such as the Delaware Center for Contemporary Arts, Pegasus ArtWorks, The Cheltenham Center for the Arts, and Community based partnerships at public and independent schools. |
