| Introduction | I am a young(ish) woman and married to my best friend. Together we are navigating a life course we found ourselves on when I was diagnosed with Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS), also called Lou Gehrig's Disease. And, most recently, a diagnosis of Breast Cancer. We have learned the importance of filling our life with laughter, good friends and family - to embrace each day and keeping all that is important to us as top priority. I hope by sharing my/our experiences, there may be something of value or benefit to someone else's life. |
