| Introduction | Not enough room for full biography, So I'll "Keep It Simple" Grew up in Ontario Canada, Ottawa, St. Catherines, Guelph, Toronto, By 8-9 was starting drinking career, by 11 started drugs, droped out of school by 16,Because "I knew Everything". got married at 17, seperated by 20 worked in hospitality, managed to make it to management from dishwasher yet continually lost jobs for my desease always was with me. Became a carnie, constantly in and out of jails, finally went to West coast, where I found Hastiongs st. Excuse the lack of time lines as I was constantly in a alcohol/and or Drug induced haze, after years on hastings went to detox (for three hots and a cot) then a recovery house, again just for 3 hots and a cot. However GOD had other plans, went there june 1992, relapsed last few months there, left house and became clean and sober for good December 26th 1992. in 1994 took courses for counseling and life skills coaching, 95 opened a recovery house which stayed open for 2 years till funding resources changed focus, worked another year at another treatment facility. Then in 96-97 revitalized and brought life back to a dying Alano club for 8 1/2 years managed said Alano club. |
