Introduction Kathryn, originally from northern Mexico, started life as a painter in oils, quickly changed to international finance and accounting. Graduated from the University of New Mexico with a CPA. Worked for a multinational corporation where she traveled to over 90 countries in two decades. Now Kathryn loves creating stories inspired by her experiences growing up in Mexico and the cultures she encountered while traveling for her international finance career. Her books have won numerous awards including a Silver Falchion for Best Fiction Book of the Year 2017 by Killer Nashville Mystery Writers Conference for Waking Up in Medellin. A First Place Award in Action/Adventure Category of “Latino Books Into Movies” for Danger in The Coyote Zone. 2020 Finalist in the Eric Hoffer Book Awards for Revenge in Barcelona, and a Silver Falchion for Best Short Story Collection, Backyard Volcano.
