| Introduction | Alissa Hebert-Wallace earned her MSW from Tulane University and is pursuing her DSW from Simmons University. She holds independent licensure in MS and OH, with supervision designations in both states. Ms. Hebert-Wallace has worked with youth and adults with developmental disabilities, those with persistent mental health issues, and individuals with dual diagnoses. She has also studied trauma since her days as an undergraduate student and provided treatment to persons who have experienced large-scale and/or personal trauma. As a social work administrator, she has had a hand in creating and implementing several programs, including a life skills program for youth and adults with developmental disabilities, a therapeutic program to address severe traumatic histories in young adults with developmental disabilities, and a long-term residential treatment facility for adolescent males. Ms. Hebert-Wallace enjoys consulting and presenting on various social work and leadership issues. |
