| Introduction | Hi. Welcome to In The Farm Kitchen! My name is Kay. I am a wife, mama and organic farmer. My deep appreciation of food began years ago with my first farming experience apprenticing at an organic farm in California. That was where I first tasted fruit plucked straight from the tree, still warm from the sun. Where I milked a cow twice a day and learned to make butter, yogurt and cheese. Where I started beekeeping and baking bread. It was as though I hadn't experienced real food before and I fell in love. From there I went on to have many other experiences, all farm and food related. I've been cooking and baking all along the way. The farm kitchen is the heart of our home and is where you can usually find me. It is where I attempt to create delicious, healthy meals for my family from food we've grown right outside our door. Our farm kitchen is the place I find daily inspiration for more than just food.
