| Introduction | I grew up in the suburbs of Nashville, TN from the day I was born on October 10, 1984 until the spring of 2005. I discovered climbing in 2004 in the attic of a friend's house who had built a woody and littered it with climbing holds. Having this new found passion gave me direction, which led me to the University of Tennessee of Chattanooga. Four more years of studying in the college of business and in the surrounding wilderness left me enlightened and educated. I graduated with honors from the UTC College of Business with a degree in Business Management. Although I had a few experimental post college career opportunities none of them ever satisfied my activity level. I had always been envious of the people running the show at major climbing events. I wanted to be "in". So, I let it be known. As a result, Kurt Smith and I have been working together for three years now and more committed in the last year as I have taken on more responsibility, freeing up his genius salesman mind. Throughout this four year period I had been climbing non stop. The people I have met and the places I've been through climbing have provided the most memorable times of my life. |
