| Introduction | The professional designation of FCHP was earned after passing an extensive written exam that measures horticulture knowledge & professional skills. This exam covers such topics as plant identification, disease & insect control, landscape design/management & retail procedures. Established by the Florida Nurserymen & Growers Assoc. (FNGA), the Florida Certified Horticulture Professional program was designed to increase professionalism among Florida’s growers, landscape professionals & retail employees. I specialize in propagation & growing my own plants to be used in landscaping projects & to be sold in my nursery to the general public. This allows me to be able to offer low prices to my customers. Landscape Plants by Cliff is the result of a life-long love of working with plants. It has afforded me the opportunity to take a God given talent & make a successful career doing work that I enjoy. I have hybridized a special amaryllis in loving memory of my daughter. Kimmie's Delight(patent pending), has a large red bloom with a bright yellow star in the center. |
