Introduction I'm the mother of two boys. My older son was diagnosed with Autism (PDD-NOS) at age two. Reading is a huge big happy place for me. But I couldn't find a blog that regularly gives book recommendations for kids on the spectrum, so I created this one. This is now mostly an archive of past posts kept online as a resource for you. I welcome on topic guest posts and reviews from kids, parents, educators, librarians . . .
Interests Reading, Theatre, Gardening, Singing
Favorite Books Pride and Prejudice, Not Wanted on the Voyage, The Three Musketeers, The Phoenix Guard, Teckla, Kim, Short Stories of Saki, Meet Mr. Mulliner, Leave it to Psmith, To Say Nothing of the Dog

You've written a hit musical! How will you avoid having fame go to your head?

Fame? What fame?-name the writers and composers of Urinetown, Little Shop of Horrors, and the Sleepy Chaperone. These days, fame is fleeting and more likely to go to the star of a 3 minute internet video. You're only as good as your latest hit.
