| Introduction | This will be a first of many things for me. A first try at 365, a first blog, (if I can figure it out), and my first Christmas without the echo's of my childrens laughter in the house. Yes, my nest is empty, and I'm feeling discombobulated, but I'm ready to discover what this uncharted area of life holds for me. A big bite, I know. One might say I'm setting myself up for failure, but I believe we only fail when we don't try. The fact that I have gotten to this point, means I am succeeding. I'm a great thinker, but not a great doer. I've never been good at expressing myself, but photography is a language that allows me to do so without words. Like any new language, the more we practice, the more fluent we become. I've decided not to share this little adventure with anyone I know other then my husband. Selfish as it may sound, I want to be free to explore, grow, and let go. Let the journey begin... |
