Introduction | I was born and raised in Lancaster County, South Carolina, graduating from Lancaster High School in 1973. I spent six years in the USAF (1979-1985) working on computers. I spent four years (2002-2005) in New Jersey, and I am again on the road on a contracting opportunity. I am a Software Architect working in the subfield of computer security, specifically on large-scale IBM mainframe computers. I have been involved with with IBM mainframe computers for more than 40 years, and have been a professional computer programmer for more than 35 years. Genealogy is an area of great interest to me. My family has lived in Lancaster County for some 260 years after first arriving in the American colonies some 385 years ago. |
