| Introduction | Hello, I am a science instructor at Catawba Valley Community College in Hickory, North Carolina. I have been passionate about nature my entire life and especially about plants. I started this blog as a means to show case some of my photography but to also educate myself about North Carolina's unique and diverse flora. I enjoy exploring the great outdoors and photographing the spectacular diversity of plants, animals, fungi, and other natural phenomena I see as I hike.
