| Introduction | My name is Lindsey and I am a student at the University of Arkansas. I am down to my last two semesters left in college and have decided to study abroad in Sweden spring 2012. I am very excited for multiple reasons. I've never been out of the country so I am most excited about experiencing new cultures and way of life. I've always been a people watcher so I'll be easily entertained. I am pushing myself to do this because it forces me outside my comfort zone. I will be leaving my little haven here in Arkansas, going to a place where I know not a soul, and studying business in a country where things are very different. Because it makes me anxious, I know its the right choice. I'm hoping to gain confidence in my ability to maneuver life alone and in a foreign country and gain a larger perspective of what the world is like on a global scale. |
