| Introduction | I'm 43 years old, trying to keep my weight in check after many years of yo-yo dieting. On the 4th August 2009, I had a Lap Band implanted and so far it has been great - in 5 months I am down close on 40kg - and life is 100% better! My aim is to drop the required weight, and position myself for a healthy and happy future - ensuring that I am around to enjoy my retirement in 17 years! This blog is mostly Lap Band related but I will also deal with some of the other real life challenges and experiences. |
