Sponges and tongues are frequently misspelled. Is it because both are thirsty?
I can understand why tongue is misspelled often... but why sponge? This is a strange question to begin with. And besides, I thought there were two spellings for the word tongue anyways- just like color/colour. Am I wrong? WHO THE HECK MISSPELLS SPONGE??? And no, it's not because they're both thirsty. That's stupid.
