InterestsBorn in Clifton Springs, NY in 1946, Bill earned an A.A.S. in Economics from Auburn Community College in 1966, and a B.A. in Business and Economics from Alfred University in 1968. He achieved the designation of Certified Financial Planner (CFP) from the College of Financial Planning in Denver, Colorado in 1988. Bill started his professional career as an account executive with Merrill Lynch in 1973. From 1975 through 1990, he worked at Prudential Securities (Rochester, NY), where he became Senior Vice President and a member of the prestigious Chairman’s Council. In 1991, Bill founded Eagle Steward Ltd., (Rochester, NY) currently known as Eagle Steward Wealth Management, LLC, and in 2004, he was named as Chief Investment Strategist at Biltmore Wealth Advisers, LLC (Phoenix, AZ.) During the 1990’s in Rochester, NY, Bill was a regular on the WHEC-TV (CBS) Noon News with his segment entitled “Dollars and Sense,” and was also frequently heard on 1180WHAM radio. From 1999 to 2002, he hosted “It’s All About Money” on NEWS 1040AM WYSL, a financial radio program which was broadcast throughout the Northeast. In 2006, Bill resurrected “It’s All About Money” on NEWS TALK 1230 & 1450 WENY in Corning, NY, and can also be heard on FINANCIAL NEWS RADIO 1510 KFNN (Phoenix, AZ.) In addition, in 2002, Bill authored the book “The One-Hour Survival Guide for the Downsized.” Most recently, in 2009, Bill was selected as one the best financial planners in the country and is listed with this prominent recognition in “Guide to America’s Top Financial Planners.”
