Introduction | I am a doulos to my Kurios. Doulos is Greek for slave and Kurios is Greek for Lord or Master. My desire is that my life would be defined by that identity. Why do I blog? The hobby probably flows out of my obsession with notebooks and journals. A blog is just another facet of that addiction as well as a motivation for me to share my ramblings about what the Lord is doing in my life. I formerly blogged here: www.homeschoolblogger.com/windowfriends1/. You can still visit me there if you are intested, but it is otherwise inactive. |
Interests | My obsessions include: being with my man, (surprising, I know!) reading and collecting books, journaling, making my home more home-y, babying my tomato plants, and lately, getting ready for a year of directing Awana Cubbies and teaching 7th and 9th grade science to my siblings. |
Favorite movies | Luther, Miss Potter, Sense and Sensibility, Chariots of Fire, Fiddler on the Roof, Anne of Green Gables, Amazing Grace, Up...probably more... |
Favorite music | Jars of Clay, Caedmon's Call, Rich Mullins, Third Day, Owl City, Tchaikovsky, Rascal Flatts, Selah, Keith Getty, Fernando Ortega, Keith Urban, Vivaldi, Hans Zimmer |
Favorite books | Bible (especially John, Ephesians, Job, Psalms, and Phillipians), Tale of Two Cities, The Hiding Place, North and South, So Big, Little Women, Longfellow's Poems, Little House Books, Screwtape Letters, Invisible Hand, Till we have Faces, Let Me Be a Woman. |
