About me

Location	St. Louis, Missouri
Introduction	As your new teacher at Hazelwood North Middle, I would like to tell you a little bit about myself. I feel fortunate to have chosen to become a teacher. After many years of teaching it is still a joy and a privilege to work with children. My goal everyday is to teach each child as if they were my own. ( I know how particular I was about my own children's education.) I graduated from University of Missouri in Columbia, and earned my Bachelor's degrees in Elementary Education. After graduation from college, I moved to Hawaii, continued my education, and was awarded a Masters Degree in Psychology, Counseling and Guidance. I taught preschool in Hawaii, and third and fourth grade after I moved to Alabama. When I moved back to St. Louis, I taught English as a Second Language, Kindergarten, First Grade, Fourth Grade, and then Reading at Kirby Middle (renamed East Middle). Now it's my twenty-third year in education and I'm thrilled to be teaching seventh grade English to you!
