Introduction	We all have to put down what doesn't work after a while either by being broken open or willfully shedding what isn't working. I have experienced both. I once read that the true definition of sacrifice is to give up what no longer works in order to stay close to the sacred. This is my struggle to give up what no longer works in my journey to saying yes and experience the person I was created to be. My hope is that these words can touch those who were meant to read them.
