| Introduction | I’m just a girl like any other I suppose…daughter, sister, wife, mother, aunt, cousin, neighbor, and friend. Life isn’t easy and is almost always messy, but I still try to follow the golden rule and teach it to my kids. I am addicted to my coffee, my iphone, the color pink, sweet tea, my big tote bag size purses, dansko clogs, Jane Austen, and most importantly my family. I hate sports, unless my kids are playing them, and then I am the loudest/most incoherent cheerleader on the sidelines. I love music and singing in the car, playing Scrabble with my kids, and catching up with friends. I’m a type A perfectionist and yet my house is never quite as tidy as I’d like for it to be, but I’m getting used to that too because I’m just a mere mortal mom and Grandma Moo Cows taught me to be okay with that. |
