| Introduction | ¡Hola! My name is Shaelyn Floria and I am currently studying abroad at la Universidad de Granada (centro de lenguas modernas) in Spain. This is the first time I have traveled and even flown on a plane. At first there were more nerves than anything but now I couldn't be more happy and grateful to be here. If that isn't as good as it gets, I also get to spend this whole life changing experience with my boyfriend who is also studying abroad in Granada. We are just loving every minute of it! I am living in Granada with a host family for 4 months and taking 5 Spanish classes for my major to better my Spanish speaking skills. Back home in Massachusetts, I live in a very small town so I love the change of pace living the city life in Granada. What a difference it is! Although it's a city, no matter where you are you can see a view of the Sierra Nevada Mountains from any angle. I feel like the luckiest girl in the world living my dream :) |
