| Introduction | Richard J. Wagner, Ph.D. Dick was born in the Bronx and received his Ph.D. in Organizational Behavior from Indiana University in Bloomington, IN. Since 1990 he has been a Professor at the UW-Whitewater. He teaches a wide variety of Human Resource Management courses at both the Undergraduate and Graduate (MBA) level. Courses include: Human Resource Management; Training & Development and Employee Recruiting & Selection, as well as a number of others. Prior to getting his Ph.D. he was a Corporate Trainer with a number of companies including Texaco, Reynolds Metals and Shoe Corporation of America. Since 1986 he has also consulted world wide in the areas of team building and training evaluation. Dick and Bob Weigand have collaborated for a number of years and have published 2 books, 4 Book Chapters and several articles on their efforts to evaluate training programs. The most recent of which was published in July 2005 entitled Measuring Results of MBTI Type Training. Dick is married to Elaine since 1967 and they spend a lot of time gardening, working on their 3 acre home and with their 2 daughters and their husbands and their 4 grandchildren. |
