| Introduction | I am a Christian, wife, mom and missionary in Northwest Ontario. Above all other passions I am passionate about sharing Christ's love with others. Motherhood has always been a deep longing as far back as I can remember. After suffering a multitude of miscarriages throughout our second year of marriage I was finally diagnosed with an autoimmune disease, prior to diagnosis my Doctor helped me find a course of treatment for my autoimmune disease that would hopefully aide a successful pregnancy, indeed, that month I became pregnant and was able to carry my first daughter to term. Two years later, under the same course of treatment, our second daughter was born. They are both such incredible blessings and I thank God for the gift of motherhood. Though medical treatment for my autoimmune disease did help me to carry 2 beautiful girls into this world I have continued to have additional miscarriages while on medical treatment as well. After many years of suffering from this disease I am beginning the journey of discovering how my body responds to the Autoimmune Protocol. Our family is completely in the hands of God and I trust His sovereignty in all of this. |
