Introduction	Crazy? Maybe. So out of the ordinary? Yes. Is it worth it? Of course! We will gather our complete necessities in our packs and live out of 2 packs for 4 months. We will be sleeping in a tent. We will hike around 18 miles per day, have limited hot showers and eat basically the same things everyday. We will be sore and tired. We will miss good southern cooking, awesome friends and our amazing families. Sounds even crazier now, huh? We will experience Sierra Nevada and Mt. Whitney, Yosemite National Park, Marble Mountain and the Russian Wilderness in Northern California, the volcanoes of the Cascades including Mt. Shasta and Mt. Hood, Crater Lake, Columbia River Gorge, Mt. Rainier, and the remote Northern Cascades. We will meet some unique people and appreciate the simple pleasures and the natural beauties that the world offers. Probably doesn't sound AS crazy now.
