| Introduction | I'm a married, working mom of two kids in Marietta, Georgia. I am fortunate to have a wonderful family, great job, and fabulous friends. I love reading blogs, but I never had a passion or the time. When I learned about the school shootings in Connecticut, I was devastated like everyone else. I couldn't make sense of why someone would murder beautiful, innocent children and their loving teachers. I needed to help "fix" this ongoing violence at schools, but I didn't know how. After hearing about others doing 26 acts of kindness in honor of the 26 victims, I knew I wanted to participate. Even if I can't change gun laws or stop murderers, at least I can honor the victims by spreading kindness, and maybe as a bonus, inspire others to do the same. |
