| Introduction | >Bobby Forbes’ art ride began with love of color, architecture & texture leading her to consider a fine arts career. After two years of college she entered work force due to family needs. Art was obtained through private or night courses. With marriage, time for art lessened & placed on hiatus after a solo acrylic paintings show. >Art pulled her back to college mid-life. On track for a technical degree in fashion merch, she was advised to complete transfer degree. She did & received a Bachelor’s of Arts and Master’s of Public Affairs. >With degrees, she reentered the volunteer & work arenas as her daughter entered college, graduated, became employed and married. Then Bobby’s husband announced retirement, requested she join him, she did & the new quest began. >This time has proven great for enjoying wine, senior fitness & watercolor. The latter feeds creative photography as mainstay to not drawing. Now there are photography daytrips for art & with granddaughter. >Life has always been about goals. And continues with goals to continue watercolor studies, to become juried in several societies & to have another solo show – in watercolor. |
