| Introduction | Dr. B earned his Doctorate of Chiropractic degree (DC), along with a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Biology, from the National University of Health Sciences in Lombard, IL. While at National, Dr. B developed a strong interest in anatomy, physiology and nutrition helping him to understand how the body functions. Dr. B utilizes a specific treatment method called Applied Kinesiology (AK). AK employs manual muscle testing to evaluate body function through the dynamics of the musculoskeletal system. Prior to receiving treatment, areas of weakness/dysfunction are identified, and then specific therapies that will benefit the patient are applied. Patients may receive specific joint manipulation or mobilization, myofascial therapy, rehabilitation therapy, cranial techniques, temporamandibular (TMJ) joint procedures, acupuncture meridian therapy, clinical nutrition, dietary management, spinal decompression, various reflex procedures, gait (how one walks) and posture analysis. |
