| Introduction | Born in 1988, Caitlin Williams began her pursuit of telecommunications at a young age, co-anchoring the Lime Street Elementary live news broadcast for two years while also co-writing scripts. In the Spring of 2010 she interned at ClearChannel Communications Tampa, Fl in the web department. Her responsibilities included creating daily content graphics, creating specialized website backgrounds, filming live performances in studio, loading contests and creating web content. Caitlin joined the University of South Florida’s daily news show, Florida Focus, as web producer in Fall 2010. The show airs daily on WUSF channel 16. In her spare time Caitlin frequents the local Floridian film scene, participating in many film contests and independent productions. She has served as Unit Production Manager in “A capella” and “Ready 2 Die”, and Assistant Director for “The Homecoming”. Already receiving her A.A in Mass Communications, Caitlin is now on the path to her Bachelors in Telecommunications-Broadcast News. After graduation she plans to follow a career in television production/direction and perhaps advance to film production/direction. |
