Introduction	I'm 69; Sr (J) died in September '24, at 86. I thought about changing the title of the Blog... but I still feel married. He's just not living with me in the house anymore. Between us we have 9 living adult children (one passed from melanoma in 2023), plus multiple grands and great-grands. Life is mostly happy, and challenging-- grief is a place I never wanted to be. I am doing this one day at a time, with my friends in AlAnon, a support group for friends and family of loved ones with an addiction. We moved across country from Oregon to Florida in March 2016. It's been exciting and so different: Multiple hurricanes, and recovery from those. (Picture Bilbo running down the lane with his bag, shouting "I'm going on an adventure!" )
