| Introduction | I've been an organizational consultant, professor, psychotherapist, and researcher since earning my psychology Ph.D. in 1971. I've never found psychotic delusions to be particularly interesting, but I am always fascinated by mass delusions in society. My earlier blog, "Grade Inflation" explored the delusional system involving students believing they are all above average because their inflated grades say so. "Shared Delusions" is intended to explore the entire range of mass delusions, be they academic, aesthetic, athletic, economic, political, religious, or scientific.
