| Introduction | I am a 40yr old lesbian. I live with my partner (Homer181)- my soul mate, best friend – there is not a day that goes by where I do not feel blessed to have met her. We have 16 fur-babies (13 dogs, 3 cats)! They keep us busy, covered in fur & provide lots of fur-baby cuddles! I teach in a comprehensive, suburban high school & I love my job! I think of myself as “fucked up” but prefer to call myself “quirky”! I am probably just deluded & am really boring! I have bipolar & I am in recovery from self harm, depression & mania! Long live recovery! Now all I need to do is to lose some weight! Must get my lap band tightened soon! I love reading but don’t do enough of it. I am quite partial to doing a crossword. I love where we live - we are mortgaged to the eyeballs, but it is better than renting! We spend way too much time on the ‘net, with our laptops in front of the TV & we love it! I love to cook. We are poor – due to ridiculous debts accumulated by me when I was in an undiagnosed manic spending frenzy over an extended period of time & by Homer181’s predilection for gambling (pokies being her vice!) But we are on track & getting things sorted – but are very cash poor! |
