| Introduction | I am the publisher and owner of the Claremont COURIER newspaper and website. The COURIER has served the community of Claremont (35 miles east of LA) since 1908. We have evolved a lot since those early days, which now includes a full-blown, full-service website for our subscribers updated daily. My Side of the Line is a column my father Martin started in the 1960s. As a family tradition, I have taken over the column name that focuses on news and insights from in and around Claremont. Of particular interest is the newspaper industry and how it fits into the media landscape of our rapidly changing world. |
