| Introduction | I had early dreams about my career and have been doing what I love - planning and designing weddings and events - for over 12 years now {ew. I sound old}. I own a boutique Wedding and Event Planning company, Kara Superfine Events. I love working with my clients {many end as lifelong friends!} to help create the absolute best version of their vision. While working in the wedding world {days/evenings/weekends, oh my!} it is easy to become consumed with my clients and their details and I am, therefore, constantly striving for the prefect balance of work and life... Part of the balance, I've found, comes from my blog - where I share bits about my personal life, my work and my inspirations. I am a simple midwestern girl that appreciates generosity and good manners, a little bit of glitz and a great matte lipstick, a good laugh, indulgent treats {then a hellofa hard workout}, traveling to new places, daydreaming about the future.
