Introduction	I descend from a long line of independent women and I hope to make my own mark on the world just like they did. I grew up in Mission Viejo in Orange County, California; known to be a strongly conservative and extremely religious area. However that is not to say there were not liberal atheists to be found. I had to form opinions of my own that were not always approved by my peers on either ground. I was raised in a middle class agnostic/ Jewish/ Luthran/ Methodist/ humanist family surrounded by both poor and rich Christian/Mormons. It must also be noted that diversity was very limited as our town is mostly made up of Caucasians, followed by Asians, and then Hispanics. I'm an Ithaca college graduate who likes to challenge common views on feminism (and other -isms), explore ranging ideas on the roles of both women and men, and experience foreign attitudes about how we should develop as humans. I will challenge my own ideas and hopefully learn something about myself in the process.
