Introduction Started life on a reservation in Oklahoma, an oil reservation, Phillips Poppalaney Camp south of The City in 46. Lived mostly with my maternal grandparents, Bill and Tressa Turner until the Korean war was at an end. My parents brought me to California on my seventh birthday, and once you have seen The Mountains Mother and La Mar Pacificum, it's awfully hard to go back to red dirt and gravel roads, though I often visit. Met a wonderful girl at the beach in 1966, married her in 1967, we have three children and four grandchildren. The best forty five years of my life. Got the business from my Dad, tool making, and essentially retired from it in 2002. Had opportunity to wander a bit and worked at various aspects of the machining and manufacturing industry. Like to keep my hand in a little still. Worked along the Pacific Coast down the long years, Costa Mesa to Lillooet, British Columbia, including some time in the Army.
